Two Earthquake Resistant Mountain Schools in Kaski District, Nepal

Construction costs: on average 3.000 euro per classroom

Contribution SSF: on average 2.500 euro per classroom

Our aim is to construct 15 earthquake resistant classrooms each year in the remote mountain areas of Nepal. The coming year we will work on the most urgent cases, as can be seen on the pictures below. The projects will be executed with our partner SEED Foundation.

Projects Dargauntar and Khalte

In Dargauntar the current state of the old building with tiny and dark classrooms, is very poor. On the right side of picture 3 you can see that the building is about to collapse. Two new classrooms have been requested here.

The school in Khalte has been built very poorly and this year the roof was blown off, and one classroom has collapsed. We will build 5 new rooms here.
